Reporting Unlawful Content
In application of Article 6-I-7 of Law No. 2004-575 of June 21, 2004, on trust in the digital economy (LCEN), any content hosted on the site deemed manifestly unlawful may be reported to the publisher at abuse@ephemere.org.The report should, to the extent possible, include the following elements:
- Your name, first name, status, and contact information.
- A detailed description of the facts and their exact location on the site (URL).
- The reasons for which the content must be removed, including reference to applicable legal provisions and factual justifications.
- A copy of the correspondence sent to the author or publisher of the disputed information requesting its interruption, removal, or modification, or justification for why the author or publisher could not be contacted.
In accordance with Article 6-I-4 of the LCEN, presenting to the persons referred to in paragraph 2 of the same article content or activity as unlawful for the purpose of obtaining its removal or stopping its distribution, when you know the information to be inaccurate, is punishable by up to one year's imprisonment and a fine of 15,000 euros.
Consumer Mediation
As the Éphémère service is offered free of charge, the consumer mediation scheme provided for in Articles L. 612-1 et seq. of the Consumer Code does not apply in the absence of a consumer relationship under these provisions.
This notice will be updated as applicable upon introduction of a paid offering for consumers, by designation of a consumer mediator in accordance with applicable law.
